About Honda NSX
The NSX was designed to rival European sports cars while also offering everyday drivability. The NSX was a showcase of Honda's latest automotive technologies when it was released in 1990. Several famous racing drivers, including Ayrton Senna, provided input for the car's development and it was notable for being the first production car with an all-aluminum monocoque body. In 1992, Honda produced a version which was more purely dedicated to track performance called the NSX Type R. Removal of comfort features such as air conditioning and leather seats meant a weight savings of 120kg and a re-tuned suspension and transmission resulted in a formidable track machine.
