People have said in many forums that the best setup they have is black in the back and tan upfront. I don't know whether I've got a different spring but these springs are way shorter than the standard ones and don't feel as stiff or rigid. When the MERV is still the back droops a lot and as soon as you accelerate the back end is nearly on the floor. My only guess is that it's best to order two packs an put the 4 springs on the back or go for the longer stiffer Summit VXL springs to stop te droop
