Even more rewarding than I expected. I already had a Team Associated Trophy Rat see my review for that..... I'm pleased with it but it was not without minor quality issues but wanted something a bit smaller that was easy to strap to a backpack. Whilst considering this, I was never honestly overly fussed for the looks of the cab forward body but I knew it was a good, compact, 2WD platform. I'm glad to say I think it looks better in the flesh and from rear angles, actually looks really good. I fitted all black Absima dish wheels and tyres and this now makes it look very cool. The only negative that I have to report was that straight out of the box, one of the front wheels would not freewheel smoothly. I was worried it was a bad bearing but actually it was the inner hex of the wheel somehow being a bit mangled like you would expect on an incorrectly installed rear wheel become a bit ripped up when driven. No idea how this happened on a brand new front wheel. I got the dremel out and tidied up the bits that were rubbing and then everything was fine. Apart from that, all good. It handles beautifully and you can do very controlled power slides on tarmac, which is fun. I bought a faster pinion gear 23T and expected to want to fit this straight away but at the moment the standard gearing I think it's an 18T is plenty fun enough. It's not going to visually impress like a larger car would but it definitely still whizzes around in a way that makes people want to have a go.
