This 1/10 scale R/C assembly kit recreates the Mitsubishi Pajero on the CW-01 chassis. After the announcement of its concept car at the Tokyo Motor Show in 1973, the Mitsubishi Pajero was one of the most recognizable Mitsubishi 4WD cars, sold from 1982 to 2021 through a fourth model change. At the 1983 Paris-Dakar Rally, this car took a championship in an unmodified production vehicle division, and after that, showed off its great performance around the world. This kit recreates the first-generation model which was produced from 1982 to 1990. Based upon Item 58499 1/10 R/C Mitsubishi Montero Wheelie, tires are changed from massive 115mm big ones to rock block ones, and the kit features the CVA II short oil dampers.
2WD Chassis
The durable and easy-to-assemble 2WD chassis employs a box type frame and features front independent swingarms and a rear rolling rigid suspension. A sealed gearbox protects the diff gear from dirt and sand during off-road driving.
Required to complete: 2-channel radio, steering servo, 7.2volt battery with compatible battery charger and Tamiya TS paints.
Brilliant car, the oil shocks make it run much more stable than the Lunchbox. But as it has the DNA of the lunchie same chassis its still got all its character. Great fun to drive, runs well with a modest brushless kit too, just don't go 3s crazy or all you'll get is wheelie time. Fun to build, looks great and brings back that Tamiya nostalgia :
